Lakeside Escape: Cedar Bluff on Weiss Lake (Sleeps 18)

This was our second stay at Walcox Point and we will be booking again for next year. Great escape!! Wonderful house, great dock, boat ramp!! Many lodges have great sleeping areas but no living areas. Walcox Point kitchen is suitable for cooking and the tables easily accommodated all of us! Great place to sleep and enjoy large gatherings.

The lake view and lodging are top notch. The owners were great to deal with and every detail of the property was perfect. We used it as a corporate retreat to entertain clients and we will be back again.

The property is beautiful! The house is spacious and it was just amazingly peaceful! The doughnuts and s’more ingredients were a nice touch! We stayed there with family and friends for our son’s wedding. It was a fabulous weekend!

We've been going to different rentals at different lakes in Alabama every summer for over a decade. This property was finally the perfect fit for our family of eight adults and six grandchildren (ages 7 months to 10 years). Everyone had wonderfully comfortable bedrooms which fit their individual family's needs. We were able to share meals together at the large dining room table (the four oldest grandkids ate right beside us at the bar). We were able to watch movies together on the giant sectional. We spent outside time fishing, boating, swimming, rocking on the back porch, etc., etc. Everything about this property fit our needs and so much more. Everyone wants to go back next summer. That is the plan!

The house was clean and there was a nice welcome basket when we arrived. The views were beautiful and all the furniture was very comfy.
